When Porter-Leath assumed leadership of Shelby County’s Head Start program, Kelley & Associates Advertising developed and executed a full-scale recruitment campaign to build both student enrollment and staffing pipelines across Memphis and the Mid-South.
Our team managed every aspect of the campaign, including strategic planning, creative concepting, media negotiation, placement, design, video production, and public relations.
The comprehensive, full-funnel strategy combined broadcast and streaming radio, targeted digital video, streaming TV, YouTube and gaming ads, paid search, targeted email, and social media to engage both parents and educators. We delivered more than 3.2 million impressions and over 32,000 total actions—including clicks, web visits, and conversions that directly advanced enrollment and hiring goals.
Between July and September 2025, Porter-Leath achieved measurable impact:
1,314 new applications submitted
1,670 children enrolled
516 job fair attendees with 231 positions offered
Earned media amplified the message further, with local and national coverage from WMC-TV, WREG, FOX13, ABC24, The Daily Memphian, Chalkbeat Tennessee, and others—solidifying Porter-Leath’s visibility as the region’s leading early-childhood education provider.
Through integrated media, creative storytelling, and data-driven optimization, this campaign not only filled classrooms with students and qualified teachers—it built trust with families and positioned Porter-Leath for long-term success in shaping the future of Shelby County’s children.
